A Message from the President
Since its inception Gretna and District Choral Society seems to have been part of my life. My friend’s mother was a founder member and I must say I was most impressed by the Choral in those very early days. My opinion of them has never changed. They have certainly have had their ups and downs over the years as do most organisations but there has been a steady undertone of enthusiasm for making music in this area. The Choral Society has made lots of music over the years, won many trophies in various festivals and continued to bring wonderful soloists to their Annual Concerts. Their reputation is second to none.
They are a happy group of people who enjoy their singing as they turn out week in and week out keeping the wonderful spirit of those who started the Gretna Choral Society to the fore. I am very privileged to be their President.
